Lately I've been feeling like I don't fit in with the cool people anymore.
Take for instance the new Batman movie. Everyone seems to think it was great, an amazing movie.
I thought it was ok. Batman was kinda a puss in my opinion.
Heath Ledger was pretty damn awesome as the Joker. That I do agree with.

The movie was good, not great and way to long.

I'll watch it again when it's released on Blu-ray maybe I'll like it better the 2nd time.

Thanks to Penance and Becci for a fun RtB's pre/post-load. Goodtimes were had. Even though a spent way more money than usual at Bats. Not sure how, but certain booze were involved.

Also big thanks to Kyle for the GOG's party! ALways something I look forward too. Had a great time and stumbled home sometime around 6am. After pulling of the freeway and sleeping an hour in my car per the norm.

I just wanted to say thanks to Penance and Becci for the hospitality shown at the pre-load/post load on Friday. It was a great time like usual. The only club/night I really look forward to.

So in less than a year and a half I have been rear-ended twice. First car destroyed, 2nd new car, only 7 months old, will probably require two new bumpers. Apparently there are no English speaking people driving in California anymore. So on top of my regular bills I need to come up with the $500 deductible. Yay. So I guess I'll be staying home for awhile. The upside from staying home, I'll have a kick ass World of Warcraft Rogue. [/nerd]

So Babyland were pretty rad at Bar Sinister on Sat. I got pretty hammered on 3 drinks. I think it was 3. Anyway they hit me hard and fast. I only remember bits and pieaces of the rest of the night. Anyway being to drunk to drive home it was decided I should crash at a motel. The Royal Hawaiian to be correct. $40 a night with a $5 deposit and a big sign out front that said "Prostitution Strictly Forbidden" Awesome! The room was tiny with mirrors strategically placed for maximum viewing of the hooker you're obviously having sex with. Classy! I sobered up quickly and took off, but not before getting my $5 deposit back. I love random adventures even if does involve a whore infested motel.

So also at Bar Sinister I remember hearing that the Birthday Massacre was playing on New Years Eve. I wouldn't mind checking them out but don't really want to spend NYE at Bas Sinister. So I find out today the tickets for that night are $50 pre-sale and $60 at the door!!!! Have they gone insane? I hope no one shows up to teach them a lesson.

Thanksgiving and stuff.

So over Thanksgiving I went to Vegas. Left a little after midnight on Wednesday to avoid traffic. It worked. Arrived at the Mirage at 5am. Check in time is 1pm. :( Wondered around and played a few games. On a whim I checked at the front desk and they checked us in at 10:30. Score. The Mirage is pretty nice. We stayed in the Deluxe Tower in the remodeled rooms. Strip view and stuff. All and all very nice. Went to a couple clubs which sucked and are super expensive. The cheapest club was at the House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay, it was an 80's club and the Spazzmatics played. They were pretty funny. The dolphin habitat is well worth $9's to see. Star Trek at $36 isn't. Checked out some strip clubs...of course. Cheetahs was recommended and sadly was horrible. We left after counting no less than 3 pregnant strippers. Something about a girl being pregnant, in a smoky room, drinking, and stripping, not such a turn on. Left Monday morning and got home in a little over 4 hours. It was a goodtime although I spent way more than intended.

For those taking bets, I'm still single and not married. Carry on.

Well my friends I am off to Vegas until Monday. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving! I have to admit I'm sad I'll miss RtB's of Friday. I love that night. Anyway have a drink for me and I'll catch you all on the flip side.

So a strange thing happened at Bar Sinister last week. I show up and someone bought me a drink, a Kettle One and 7-Up my usual. So I take a sip and it tastes horrible. Since I didn't buy the drink I didn’t want to say anything thinking perhaps I didn't get Kettle One but Popov instead. Also I had a bit of a cold so I thought maybe my taste was off. So half way through the drink I just couldn't take it and put it down, it was that bad. So drink less someone else bought me a drink from my bartender and another Kettle One and 7-Up. Again, it tasted horrible. So I had someone else taste it, they agreed horrible. So I wonder outside the other bar sit the full drink down and order another Kettle One and 7-Up. This one tasted right although not as strong as my usual bartender. So now I'm thinking Bar Sinister is mixing vodkas or something. So I buy drink number 3 from my regular bartender with the intention of telling him what was up. He makes it, and bam! Takes like shit. So I call him over and explain what's going on. So he does the finger over the straw thing to take a sample of my drink and makes a sour face when he tastes it. He gets the Kettle One bottle and pours a shot and tastes that. Same reaction. He then goes and finds another bottle of Kettle One, this one still sealed. Cracks the seal, pours a shot, takes a hit, and gags. Goes over to the other bartender and tells him to take a swig, the guy almost spits it out all over the bar and said something like "What the fuck?!?" So yeah two really bad bottles of Kettle One. I've never heard of bad batches of vodka. I'd be pretty bummed if I dropped $30 on a bottle and tasted like crap. I ended up with Grey Goose and 7-Up which ok with me.
